Bodenham Buddies

This is the ninth year that childcare service has been available to parents of St Michael's in the form of an After School Club (Bodenham Buddies). The After School Club is held on Wednesday's, Thursday's and Friday's from 3.30 pm until 5.00 pm.

The Club is very popular with the children as they provide fun play and activities throughout the year. The services are invaluable to parents who use the facilities.

All monies received in fees go directly back into school, funding trips and equipment etc.

 

The secret of success of Buddies is simply the great support from voluntary parents. The Club would struggle to continue without their contribution and we therefore thank them wholeheartedly.
 

The current cost for Buddies is £1.25 per half an hour i.e. 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm would cost £3.75. They are provided with a snack and drinks.

The usual routine is for the children to play outside until 4.00 pm (weather permitting) before returned into the hall for some form of activity i.e. cake decorating, making cards, or playing games. However, the summer months are usually spent outside in the sunshine.

There are 16 places available for each session and the booking sheets are in the foyer of the school.
