GAME! (God & Michael Entertain) On Sunday
is a free event for all the family. Children, Parents, Grandparents, everyone is welcome!

It is an opportunity for all to enjoy craft, activities, stories, entertainment and refreshments.

Our aim is simple to help the children have fun and enjoy their Church!
We hope to prove a relaxed and informal family atmosphere.

We meet on the First Sunday of each Month (except during the School holidays) at St. Michael’s Church, Bodenham from 9.30 am to 10.30 am.

Sunday 6th July

Today we had a picnic breakfast in the Church (as 9.30 am is perhaps a little early for lunch!) - strawberries and chocolate croissants were some of the breakfast delights enjoyed by both the children and their parents.

Our theme was finding out about the church both inside and out. We worked from worksheets identifying different parts of the church and then we did a quiz which the children all did very well with.

At the Church Fete on 11 July "GAME" was invited to set up their own stalls. We had guess the puppy's name - with 100 different names to choose from it was quite a challenge. At the end of the afternoon we discovered his name was "Percy" and he was soon acquainted with his new owner.

There was a Treasure Map where we had to locate the hidden treasure which proved very popular. A donkey had lost his tail and many attempts were made to locate the tail for the poor donkey. Picking up peas with chop sticks (which I found impossible - but the children did brilliantly at!).

In the tradition of all good fetes we had our own "decorate a cake" stall and by the end of the afternoon had sold over 74 cakes.

A big thank you to all the children for their help and to Mums and Dads for helping with all the preparations from lending gazebos to making cakes.
